We are a group of individuals who are forming a Makerspace in Greenville, South Carolina.
We’d love to have you stop by our meeting and introduce yourself and tell us about what you’re passionate about making.
You can all join us virtually on our freenode IRC chat room by going to http://webchat.freenode.net/ choosing a user name and putting in #greenvillemakers for the channels or using a chat client – We’ll be happy to talk to you!
You can also find us on twitter @gvillemakers or www.facebook.com/greenvillemakers
We also have a forum - greenvillemakers.com/forum – Come post about yourself, your ideas and things going on in our community
If you need to get in contact with somebody from the group or have trouble with accessing the forum or just want to say hi! Please email us at admin [at] greenvillemakers.com
Our vision for the physical Makerspace will offer tools and workspace that many of us don’t have in our garages, classes on these tools and in various crafts and trades, social events, and projects to help out the local community. Look forward to seeing you soon!
We just finished our first crowdfunding project for a community 3D printer. Big thanks to Phil Yanov, Colorhammer, Tanya Thompson, Doug Cone, Kristilyn, Miriam, Adam Gautsch, pswaters, MJ slide, and mattcwill! – You guys are rockstars thank you for your contributions!
